THE GIFTED LIFE IS A MOVEMENT
DEVOTED TO RETHINKING WHAT

giftedness really means.

For many, giftedness doesn’t show up early or obviously. It doesn’t follow a timeline. And it often emerges through difference, disruption, diagnosis, resilience, and the paths we never planned to take.

our vision

Light blue hand drawn line.

Our vision is a world where families, schools, communities, and systems celebrate diverse abilities, honor nonlinear paths, and value presence, courage, and connection as much as performance or speed.

This work helps people make sense of moments that can feel destabilizing or defining, not by reframing them, but by staying with them long enough for meaning to come into view.

This is not about fixing what isn't broken. Or optimizing potential. Or explaining experience away. It's about deeper understanding - of yourself, your children, your family, and the world you're moving through together. And honoring the meaning inside that story.

IF YOU'VE EVER FELT THAT SOMETHING DEEPER WAS AT WORK IN YOUR LIFE OR YOUR FAMILY'S STORY - EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER CALLED IT GIFTEDNESS

 you're in the right place.

HOW THIS BEGAN

I didn’t come to this work as a theory or an idea. I came to it as a mother.

A woman with two children inside a home, with light-colored walls and large windows in the background. The woman is smiling and kneeling on the floor, with a girl and boy on her back, all smiling and appearing happy.

My understanding of giftedness was shaped inside real life…

Through raising my children, navigating diagnoses, asking questions I couldn’t easily answer, and living inside moments that felt both overwhelming and quietly profound at the same time.

Like many parents, I was handed definitions, timelines, and expectations that didn’t fully explain what I was seeing or feeling. There was depth, sensitivity, and intensity in my children  -  and in me  -  that didn’t fit neatly into the frameworks available.

I could feel that something meaningful was happening, even when it was hard. But I didn’t always have the language for it.

INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE EVERYTHING FIT,

I slowed down.

I listened more closely  -  to my kids, to myself, to the experience we were actually living. Over time, I began to see how easily giftedness gets reduced to performance or pathology, and how much gets missed when we don’t make room for lived experience.

That process changed the way I understood giftedness  -  not as something to prove or fix, but as something that often reveals itself through adversity, diagnosis, difference, and the paths we never planned to take. This movement grew out of that realization.

WHAT I BRING TO THIS WORK

dark blue hand drawn line.

This work is rooted in my personal experience, but it's also informed by years of professional training and practice.

A woman with shoulder-length dark brown hair, wearing a white blazer, black dress, and accessorized with jewelry, sitting at a white kitchen counter with a potted plant, smiling at the camera.

I'm a certified health coach (IIN) and registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) with over 20 years of experience facilitating workshops, coaching individuals and families, and leading conversations about wellness, mindset, and identity.

Before launching my own practice, I built a global wellness program inside a corporate consulting firm and spent years in marketing  -  learning how to listen closely, communicate clearly, and create spaces where people feel seen.

Today, as a speaker, coach, advocate, and writer, I lead conversations about giftedness that feel human and grounded  -  particularly for adults, families, and those navigating parenting, diagnosis, or lives shaped by difference.

If you've ever felt that the most important parts of your story weren't being reflected back to you, you're not alone.

That gap is why The Gifted Life is here.

The Gift in It is a podcast redefining what a gifted life looks like  -  through honest, thoughtful conversation. At the heart of every conversation is an invitation: To hear how others have found meaning in unexpected places  -  and to begin recognizing it in your own life.

You will hear stories shaped by difference, adversity, diagnosis, loss, resilience, and the moments that quietly change how we see ourselves.

Some conversations explore:

  • Living with sensitivity, intensity, or emotional depth

  • The impact of diagnosis  -  and what exists beyond it

  • Endings, disruptions, and nonlinear life paths

  • Finding meaning without bypassing what’s hard

YOUR AUDIENCE IS READY FOR THIS CONVERSATION

The conversations I hold through The Gifted Life don’t only live online or on the podcast. They come alive on stages, in panels, and in rooms where people are ready to engage more honestly with what giftedness really means.

A woman standing at a wooden podium in front of a screen that displays the title "THE GIFTED LIFE with julie vincent." She is smiling, wearing a pink and white striped dress, and has a laptop in front of her. There is a table with a notebook and pink tumbler to her left, and the room has gray walls and a carpeted floor.

WHAT I SPEAK ABOUT

My talks explore giftedness beyond traditional definitions - not as achievement or performance, but as something deeply human.

Common themes include:

  • Redefining giftedness beyond labels, timelines, and outcomes

  • Parenting beyond expectations and comparison

  • Finding meaning in adversity

  • Living with intention in a fast, outcome-driven world

  • Wellness as something you live, not something you achieve

  • What it means to live a gifted life

My talks often blend storytelling, reflection, and conversation - creating space for people to think and feel differently about their own lives.

COLLABORATIONS

I also collaborate with hosts, facilitators, and organizations interested in bringing these conversations into new contexts - through panels, workshops, live podcast recordings, or co-created events.

Every collaboration is rooted in honesty and care, and attuned to the people in the room.

If you’re interested in inviting this conversation into your space  -  on a stage, in a room, or around a table

I’d love to hear from you!

SUPPORT THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE

dark blue hand drawn line.

Some people come here to listen quietly - to the podcast, to their own inner knowing, to the questions that are beginning to form.

Others feel a pull to stay closer.
To be in conversation.
To be held in community, or supported more personally.

She is smiling and wearing a white blazer over a dark dress, with striped orange and white shoes. Behind her is a colorful abstract painting on a pink wall. Private, Individual Work

I work one-on-one with individuals and parents who are navigating giftedness as lived experience  -  especially during moments of transition, uncertainty, or diagnosis.

We move at a pace that honors sensitivity and complexity, without rushing toward answers or outcomes. Together, we make space to understand what’s actually happening in your life  -  and what it’s asking of you.

1:1 support may be a good fit if you’re looking for:

  • A steady, attentive presence during a defining season

  • Support making sense of giftedness, sensitivity, or emotional depth

  • A place to reflect without pressure to fix or optimize

  • Thoughtful guidance when life feels unclear or overwhelming
