WHERE GIFTS ARE RECOGNIZED
not measured
THE GIFTED LIFE IS A MOVEMENT
DEVOTED TO RETHINKING WHAT
giftedness really means.
For many, giftedness doesn’t show up early or obviously. It doesn’t follow a timeline. And it often emerges through difference, disruption, diagnosis, resilience, and the paths we never planned to take.
WHERE GIFTEDNESS IS EVERY HUMAN’S BIRTHRIGHT.
our vision
Our vision is a world where families, schools, communities, and systems celebrate diverse abilities, honor nonlinear paths, and value presence, courage, and connection as much as performance or speed.
This work helps people make sense of moments that can feel destabilizing or defining, not by reframing them, but by staying with them long enough for meaning to come into view.
This is not about fixing what isn't broken. Or optimizing potential. Or explaining experience away. It's about deeper understanding - of yourself, your children, your family, and the world you're moving through together. And honoring the meaning inside that story.
IF YOU'VE EVER FELT THAT SOMETHING DEEPER WAS AT WORK IN YOUR LIFE OR YOUR FAMILY'S STORY - EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER CALLED IT GIFTEDNESS
you're in the right place.
HOW THIS BEGAN
I didn’t come to this work as a theory or an idea. I came to it as a mother.
My understanding of giftedness was shaped inside real life…
Through raising my children, navigating diagnoses, asking questions I couldn’t easily answer, and living inside moments that felt both overwhelming and quietly profound at the same time.
Like many parents, I was handed definitions, timelines, and expectations that didn’t fully explain what I was seeing or feeling. There was depth, sensitivity, and intensity in my children - and in me - that didn’t fit neatly into the frameworks available.
I could feel that something meaningful was happening, even when it was hard. But I didn’t always have the language for it.
INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE EVERYTHING FIT,
I slowed down.
I listened more closely - to my kids, to myself, to the experience we were actually living. Over time, I began to see how easily giftedness gets reduced to performance or pathology, and how much gets missed when we don’t make room for lived experience.
That process changed the way I understood giftedness - not as something to prove or fix, but as something that often reveals itself through adversity, diagnosis, difference, and the paths we never planned to take. This movement grew out of that realization.

WHAT I BRING TO THIS WORK
This work is rooted in my personal experience, but it's also informed by years of professional training and practice.
I'm a certified health coach (IIN) and registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) with over 20 years of experience facilitating workshops, coaching individuals and families, and leading conversations about wellness, mindset, and identity.
Before launching my own practice, I built a global wellness program inside a corporate consulting firm and spent years in marketing - learning how to listen closely, communicate clearly, and create spaces where people feel seen.
Today, as a speaker, coach, advocate, and writer, I lead conversations about giftedness that feel human and grounded - particularly for adults, families, and those navigating parenting, diagnosis, or lives shaped by difference.
If you've ever felt that the most important parts of your story weren't being reflected back to you, you're not alone.
That gap is why The Gifted Life is here.
The Gift in It is a podcast redefining what a gifted life looks like - through honest, thoughtful conversation. At the heart of every conversation is an invitation: To hear how others have found meaning in unexpected places - and to begin recognizing it in your own life.
You will hear stories shaped by difference, adversity, diagnosis, loss, resilience, and the moments that quietly change how we see ourselves.
Some conversations explore:
Living with sensitivity, intensity, or emotional depth
The impact of diagnosis - and what exists beyond it
Endings, disruptions, and nonlinear life paths
Finding meaning without bypassing what’s hard
